Diminished Guitar Chords
Diminished Guitar Chords for the seven major chords A, B, C, D, E, F, and GOne Shape, 4 Chords, A°, C°, F#° and D#°
Each diminshed fingering works for four different chords, in this case the chords: A, C, D#, and F#, because each of these notes is in the chord shape. Because there aren’t any open strings this pattern can be slide up or down the fret board to make other chords. If you move up 3 frets you will notice that the pattern repeats and covers the same 4 notes, in different places, but the same notes. If you moved up just 2 frets the A becomes a B, the C a D and so on for those chords. As long as one of the 4 notes is present in the fingering pattern you will have that diminshed chord.
